Piano Lessons

I tailor lessons to help my students discover and develop their own learning skills. I aim to nurture a well-rounded musician, so lessons may include any or all of the following....

• Music theory
• Understanding harmony
• Improvisation
• Composition
• Aural awareness

Lessons, particularly for the younger starter, may occasionaly include musical games on the computer. I frequently use access to Youtube and other resources to bring new materials to the lesson when appropriate. And above all music lessons should be fun!

Exams

Some students wish to learn for pleasure only. However, for those who wish to take exams ABRSM, Trinity Guildhall and Rockschool offer choice to suit the student.
